Investigative & R&D Support Testing
When persistent or unexpected process control failures require deeper investigation, Omega offers customized testing using our accredited equipment and ASTM-compliant processes — without the standard sample set requirements or formal certification. Results are provided as “Information Only” reports that support your customer-owned investigation, corrective action process, or R&D objectives. Testing is tailored to your process and specification, with flexible sample configurations and pricing at approximately 50% of standard test cost. Read more.
Step-Load Testing
Under ASTM F519, we offer step load testing on remaining samples after the standard 200-hour test is complete. This method applies incremental loads to quickly detect hydrogen embrittlement, providing a fast, reliable compliance check following initial testing. Read more.
